Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed hope that Donald Trump could help end the Russia-Ukraine war. After the inauguration ceremony, Trump also said that he would impose sanctions on Russia if Kremlin does not come to the negotiating table for ceasefire.
