Yemen's Houthi military spokesperson, Yahya Sarea, said on Monday (January 6) the militant group had struck U.S. and Israeli targets.Sarea said the Houthis had targeted the American aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman, north of the Red Sea, and that the US was attempting to attack Yemen - a mission they say they foiled.He also said the Houthis had attacked military facilities in the Israeli cities of Jaffa and Ashkelon.The Iran-aligned Houthis have controlled most parts of Yemen, including the capital Sanaa, since seizing power during 2014 and early 2015.
